NEEA WEBINAR: CFL MARKET UPDATE AND NEXT STEPS
November 5, 2009

NEEA conducted a Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb (CFL) Webinar on November 5th, 2009 to provide an update to stakeholders regarding CFLs.  The webinar included presentations by NEEA staff as well as Fluid Market Strategies.  The materials covered included 2009 CFL sales and current trends and strategies, NEEA Research and Evaluation around CFLs, including the KEMA 2008 CFL Market Report and the 2010 Research and Tracking Plans for CFLs.  NEEA also discussed 2009 energy savings implications.

NEEA'S SMART GRID WORKSHOP
February 11, 2009

To help educate staff and Board members, NEEA recently held a workshop on the rapidly evolving field of intelligent electric power distribution systems, otherwise known as Smart Grids. While NEEA’s focus has and will continue to be on the customer side of the electric meter, this new technology is enabling new and innovative ways for utilities and customers to interact to manage their energy use.  The following slides were used during the workshop.  For more information, please contact us here.
