If we were to describe 2008, we would say that it was the year of Transformation Through Partnership. In 2008 the region reaffirmed and increased its commitment to energy efficiency while NEEA prepared for the call ahead: to accelerate market transformation efforts through partnerships. NEEA's 2008 Annual Report provides you with selected highlights of the region's accomplishments that are a direct result of our close partnership with utilities, governments, trade associations, building professionals, business and industry, and energy efficiency organizations. 

In this report you'll see how past market transformation investments in technologies like CFLs continue to pay off and how the region's utilities are taking leadership to fill the pipeline with new technologies such as ductless heat pumps.

Together through 2008, the region has saved 556 aMW of total regional savings, of which 264 are net market effects which is the equivalent to powering 182,574 homes for an entire year.
