"The IEA helped us with recommissioning two facilities resulting in significant power savings with no capital investment. Going forward I can see the benefit of applying these same measures at our other facilities nationwide."

Self Test

Here is a simple and fast way to help you determine if your proposed project idea meets the key criteria NEEA uses for project approval. The test should be done prior to filling out the Proposed Project Idea Application. This test does not include all of the criteria used but covers the main criteria, which work to further the organization's mission and goals.

Does your idea: Yes No Don't Know
1. Save electricity in the Pacific Northwest?
2. Does it increase the number of electric energy efficient products or services in the market?
3. Will the market share of electric energy efficient products or services continue to remain high after the project has ended?
4. Do you bring other resources to the project that might provide leverage?
5. Does the project provide good geographic coverage in the Pacific Northwest?

If you have checked "No" or "Don't Know" to one or more of the above items, you should address those issues prior to submitting a Proposed Project Idea Application to NEEA. If you answered "No" to question (1), your project does not qualify for funding from NEEA.
